Updates On Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Animated Movie

Avatar: The Last Airbender (2025) is an upcoming animated movie that is set to be released on October 10, 2025. It is the first of three movies attached to Nickolodeon’s new Avatar Studios banner. The movie will focus on the original gang, but in their adulthood. Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, and Toph all appear to be in their late 20s and early 30s.

Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Animated Movie’s New Voice Cast

The upcoming animated movie will feature an entirely new voice cast. Some fans might be upset about this revelation but it fits with what we know about the story, it is set some time in the future, when our loveable heroes are all grown up. The original voice cast is unlikely to return, but there is no official announcement yet on that. It could be a possibility if there are any flashback sequences. The original voice cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender included Zach Tyler Eisen as Aang, Mae Whitman as Katara, Jack De Sena as Sokka, Dante Basco as Zuko, and Michaela Murphy as Toph.

The movie will be directed by Lauren Montgomery, with Bryan Konietzko, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Eric Coleman producing it. There is not much information available about the plot of the movie, but some artwork revealed at CinemaCon 2023 showed the characters looking older than when we last saw them, possibly in their late 20s.
