Star Trek: Lower Decks is a new take on the Star Trek universe, focusing on the “lower deckers” who do the menial work aboard Starfleet ships. These lower-ranking crew members are often overlooked and taken for granted, but the animated series shines a light on their everyday struggles and challenges. aboard the Cerritos, we follow the lives of several of these characters as they go about their work, while also dealing with personal issues and trying to find their place in the world.
Star Trek: Lower Decks season 2 promises even more fun and adventure than the first season. Boimler is now a crewmate on the U.S.S. Titan, and the stage is set for all kinds of new challenges and references for Trekkies. Special guests this season include Jonathan Frakes and Lycia Naff from Star Trek: The Next Generation, as well as Jeffrey Combs from Deep Space Nine.
