Coming Soon: Injustice: Gods Among Us Animated Movie

Warner Bros Animation announced a new Upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us animated movie. While the company did not make a formal statement, the news was leaked as Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2 bonus feature. Fans can expect a sneak peek of the animated film in late summer!

Until now, no cast, crew, or release details have been revealed about the Injustice movie. But with Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2 set to release late this month, The Injustice film may be with us before the year ends.

It will not be a surprise if the upcoming movie is part of the Warner Bros Animation and Discovery merge. However, we can only wait to see whether the upcoming Injustice animated film will follow the initial game’s plot and whether the cast will reprise their roles.

Announced the same day with Batman Caped crusader animated series, Injustice: Gods Among Us tells a darker multiverse story of Superman. First, the Joker tricks Superman into killing his wife and their unborn child. Superman then gives into a rage and turns into the earth’s greatest villain.

Five years after this loss, Superman takes over the earth. His regime causes Batman and all the other Justice League heroes to join forces against him for the sake of all humanity.

The Injustice has also seen tremendous expansion in the comics that were chronicled between the two games. So, it is possible for the Upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us animated movie to adapt to these or have a new storyline.

Ed Boon, the original game director, intensified fans’ curiosity after tweeting a screenshot of the word “Injustice” trending on social media. So, what next?

As we wait for the Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2 release a week from now, probably a formal announcement will follow. Stay tuned to this site to catch more updates on the upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us and other animated films!
